Global Endurance Modding presents the very first edition of the Global Endurance Cup! The 2020 season takes the drivers in four classes to 5 tracks around the world to battle for the championship. Participation is free and drivers of all levels can apply for a seat in the league.
The first season of the Global Endurance Cup will feature a prologue and 5 official races over the course of seven weeks in July and August.

We will be using an adapted version of the Global Endurance Cup 2019/20 mod, which will be provided exclusively to the participants of the league. The adapted version will be the same as the public mod, but will contain the specific tracks, cars and liveries for the league. The custom liveries used by the participants will be released as Community Cars in the public Global Endurance Cup 2019/20 mod. To participate in the league, you will need the following official DLC:

The grid will consist of a maximum of 30 cars, divided between LMP1, LMP2, LMGTE Pro and LMGTE Am. Each team will consist of one driver. Driving aids will be allowed depending on which class you are in. Basically, driving aids are not allowed for LMP1 and LMGTE Pro, low aids are allowed for LMP2 and all aids are allowed for LMGTE Am. The organizers see it as the responsibility of the applicant to choose their preferred class realistically.
We will host official practice sessions on Friday night from 8:00 to 11:00 PM (CEST) and Saturday afternoon from 2:00 PM (CEST) to 5:00 PM (CEST). All participants have to complete at least 5 timed laps in total over the course of these 2 sessions to confirm their participation. A written drivers’ briefing will be held on Discord after the conclusion of Saturday’s session.
On race day, we will start with a 1-hour practice session starting at 4:00 PM (CEST). This will allow everyone to join the server, work out any possible issues and make some final tweaks to their setups. Subsequently, there will be a single 20-minute qualifying session for all classes. A warm-up session will then start and run until the start of the race at 8:00 PM, allowing participants a break to get some food and rest before the race.

Applicants are allowed to submit a custom or real world skin for their car, which will create a unique grid for our league. All submitted skins will have to comply to a few requirements:
The livery has to be adapted with the league’s custom number plates. Templates for all cars including these number plates can be downloaded from the leagues page of our website.
The submitted livery has to include a .PSD or .XCF file with the number plates and class logos as separate layers or without these decals.
The windscreen banner will be unified for all cars, so those don’t have to be provided.
When available, please provide the region.dds and .JSON files, as those will improve the quality of your livery in-game.
To make our job a bit easier, make sure the filenames of your skin starts with your chosen car number.
If no skin is submitted, a standard livery will be provided by the organizers. If you are unable to create a skin yourself, try requesting a skin in the skin requests channel on our Discord server.
The application form also includes a list of real world liveries that are at our disposal, because we either made them ourselves or received the .PSD/.XCF files. Therefore, you can also pick those, as long as the team name and car number you enter correspond with the chosen livery. We will make sure these liveries comply with the requirements described above.
To enter the league, you have to submit the required information using the application form on globalendurancemodding.com. Your application will be reviewed by the Management as soon as possible after your entry. When your application is approved, you will receive a confirmation email containing important information regarding your participation including the server password. In case your application is denied, you will receive an email stating the reason of denial. You’ll be able to submit a new application before the deadline expires.
Drivers who want to participate in the championship have to submit their entry before July 1st, 2020. During the application process, you will have the option to select whether you won’t be able to attend certain events on the calendar.
Providing there are vacant seats when the deadline expires, we will allow one-off entries for our events. Single race applications will need to be submitted before midnight on Wednesday before the event. If necessary, we will expand the grid to a maximum of 40 cars for the season finale at Le Mans.
