FIA WEC 2019/2020 – Ford GT Add-on released
For more diversity, we created the first add-on for the FIA WEC 2019/2020 mod: the Ford GT.
URD Detroit EGT
To use this add-on, you will need to have purchased and installed the URD Detroit EGT. You can purchase it for €3,00 from their website UnitedRacingDesign.com. The reason why we didn’t include the Ford GTs in our main WEC mod is because we didn’t want to require our users to buy yet another car. This way, the users that have the Detroit or are willing to purchase it can use it with this add-on. Those who don’t can just keep using the main mod.
With permission of UnitedRacingDesign, we have made this update package for their Detroit with the following features.
Teams and Skins
The package contains the 2018 Le Mans teams and skins, which are located in the Additional Cars section of the mod:
- #66 Ford Chip Ganassi Racing (Olivier Pla)
- #67 Ford Chip Ganassi Racing (Harry Tincknell)
- #68 Ford Chip Ganassi Racing (Sebastien Bourdais)
- #69 Ford Chip Ganassi Racing (Scott Dixon)
Balance of Performance
The performance of the Fords has been balanced with our other GTE cars at all included tracks, as well as Le Mans and Sebring, using the same BOP method we use in our main mod. The BOP settings will be automatically forced to the correct tracks and we will add BOP settings for the same tracks for which we will add these settings to our other cars.
Series Filter
The package contains a new Series called “FIA WEC 2019-20 w Ford”. This contains the same regulation changes and the WEC safety car the main mod uses, just with the addition of the Fords to the Additional Cars section.
